The former Bashaw Rural Crime Watch Association has a rich history of assisting in solving crime for over 25 years.

Battle River Rural Crime Watch Society was officially formed over the summer and fall months of 2014. Operating within the guidelines of the Alberta Rural Crime Watch Association, B.R.R.C.W.S. has been formed to assist members of the Bashaw and Camrose RCMP detachments and Camrose County Protective Services.

The added support for trained law enforcement personnel will be a benefit in both reducing and preventing crime. This Crime Watch Association has the complete support of Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Camrose County Council.
